Fall 2026 Youth Sports Signups: What's Closing Now (Wake Forest & Rolesville)

July 1, 2026Updated Jul 13 min read

Fall registration sneaks up while everyone's at the pool. Rolesville's window closes Friday, July 10 — here's the fall snapshot across Wake Forest, Rolesville, and Youngsville so you don't find out the hard way.

If you blinked past spring signups, fall is your do-over — but a few of these windows are closing right now. The season doesn't start until August, so it doesn't feel urgent, but the popular divisions fill before school does. This is a point-in-time snapshot (early July 2026), not a live status page — always confirm on the league's own portal before you count on a spot.

For the big-picture version of when each league opens in any year, keep our Youth Sports Registration Calendar bookmarked.

🚨 Closing this week: Town of Rolesville

Rolesville fall youth athletics registration closes Friday, July 10, 2026. If your kid is playing in Rolesville this fall, this is your reminder to finish the signup before the weekend.

Fall programs typically on offer (co-ed and by age group):

  • T-Ball, Baseball & Softball
  • Soccer
  • Flag Football & Tackle Football
  • Cheerleading

Ages and divisions vary by sport, so check the exact age cutoffs on the registration portal.

Also open for fall: Wake Forest & Youngsville

Rolesville isn't the only game in town. Fall windows across the area are open now — a few specifics to check before they close:

Town of Wake Forest

Fall baseball and softball run through the town's athletics system, separate from its classes-and-camps platform. Fall soccer is handled by the local clubs, not the town.

  • Town athletics (baseball/softball): Team Sideline
  • NBT Soccer (Wake Forest) — fall season: registration opens early-to-mid summer for an August start. nbtsoccer.com/wake-forest
  • i9 Sports (North Wake County): flag football, soccer, and more on a fall calendar. i9sports.com

Town of Youngsville

Youngsville's fall PONY baseball & softball opened May 1, with evaluations in late July and the season running August–October. If you missed the opening window, check the portal for remaining spots before evaluations.

Three rules for fall signups

  1. Don't trust the season start date as your deadline. Registration closes weeks before the first game — Rolesville's fall window closes July 10 for an August/September season.
  2. Residency windows come first. Wake Forest, Rolesville, and Youngsville each run separate leagues with resident-first pricing. If you're on the fence, register the day your window opens.
  3. Two platforms, one confusing system. Rolesville and Youngsville use RecDesk; the Town of Wake Forest splits athletics onto Team Sideline and classes/camps onto RecDesk. Same town, different logins.
